“A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 7” DVD From Warner Home Video
(April 30, 2007 - Burbank, CA) — Preschoolers will head back to school singing Scooby-Dooby-Doo when Warner Home Video (WHV) releases the seventh and final volume of "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" on DVD August 14, 2007. Timed to be released during the busy back to school period, "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 7" will retail for $14.97 SRP. Order due date has been set for July 10, 2007.
Geared toward preschoolers, "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo" follows the young adventures of everyone’s favorite pooch, Scooby-Doo, along with pint-sized versions of Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred as they solve mysteries and of course have plenty of fun! Volume 7 contains five episodes from the television show including "The Mayhem of Moving Mollusk," where the crime-solving youngsters slap-shot the slimy plans of a giant snail hockey monster in New York City. Then, Scooby-Doo discovers his family tree’s missing link is a “weredog” in "The Were-Doo of Doo Manor." In "Catcher on the Sly," Scooby-Doo encounters a determined doggie opponent after he refuses to take a bath and in "The Ghost of Mrs. Shusham," a librarian warns that if you don’t check in your overdue book by midnight, you’ll check out! Finally, in "The Wrath of Wait-Ro," Commander Cool and Mellow Mutt face an evil master chef who hypnotizes Coolville into eating his stinky food.
WHV will promote the release of "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 7" with an online media campaign generating millions of impressions among moms with kids aged two to five. In addition, trailers of "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo Volume 7" will be included on third and fourth quarter WHV titles targeting kids aged two to five and moms with kids aged two to five.
